It may have worked, sort of, but a Windows-based PC of equal hardware would have outperformed it in gaming every time.

Again, I'm not dissing Macs--Macs are great--but they fail at gaming.

I hate all OEMs. Unfortunately, if you want to buy a laptop, you pretty much have to do business with an OEM.

I have yet to encounter a single OEM that will just build a damn computer and let you do what you want with it. Oh, no, they have to preload each PC with spyware and bloatware and other crap that doesn't remove easily, and then instead of providing a real OS disc and driver CD for their proprietary ****, they give you a "rescue CD" which, instead of actually allowing you to "rescue" a b0rked install, blows away the partitions and reloads all of the OEM's **** software.

If you want a non-**** computer, you have to build it yourself and tell all of the OEMs to kindly go to Hell.
