i finally ordered the free copy i get with my computer, since the deadline was the 31st. however, i think i'm going to wait a while before installing, perhaps until some major updates come out.

Gah, XP is fine. Windows based it's releases on driver databases, Vista has been done to rival Apples asthetics competition. No thanks!

I installed Vista on monday and its working all good for me. Looks great too.

This poor computer wouldn't be able to handle Vista. My laptop is Vista ready and I can get it at any time, but I heard its still a bit buggy on certain programs. Not everything is Vista capable yet. I'll wait another six months to a year before upgrading.

I will say it does look nice though. Good job with the pirating, btw.

I have a graphics tablet and am kinda scared to get vista cause I don't know if they are compatable. I forgot to ask someone about it when I was at Best Buy.

You can find out by typing in the brand and type name/number of the tablet, along with Vista in Google. Chances are that someone else tried it and posted his/her findings on a blog or forum or whatnot.

My built in webcam doesn't like vista even though it said it installed the drivers
