disciples 2 technicl help

i have recently brought disciples 2 off the internet and each time i install it then later switch my computer off i come back to play it and it comes up with it has stopped working so i must uninstall then reinstall does anybody know why is it because i have Vista????

what do ya mean its new? its an old game and no othe does it?

No, it's because Vista is new and not really backwards compatible with older software. Either try looking for a Vista patch if it's a somewhat recent game, or go back to XP.
