Default Why the eff do I keep getting this error?

The instruction at "0x7c9106c3" referenced memory at "0x006c006e". This memory could not be "written".

Click OK to terminate the program
Click CANCEL to debug the program
I'm getting this from Winamp but I've noticed that recently, when I try to open folders it will sometimes spew this error at me.

If someone could at least explain what this error means, that would be enough help.

It sorta means that WinAmp or whatever program that caused it is ****e. Or Windows. It's an error coming from Windows that indicates that an attempt to write a certain bit of data to the main memory failed for whatever reason. I dunno what reasons that may be though, ask Microsoft for that one .

You could try doing a defrag. Sometimes people leave it forever to do one, and data gets moved around the harddrive to the point where there is 'ghost' data. Doing a defrag will fix, or at least point out where these bag sectors on the disc are.
