Default Alienware vs. Voodoo

so i'm considering in buying a new labtop soon but dont know what brand. i'm interested in either Voodoo or Alienware. Any recommendations anyone?

Depends on what you're going to use it for. If it's for gaming, I'd suggest Alien Ware as they're built for computer gaming and come with decent software and graphics card

plus the rest. Only go for either of those brands if you have too much money on your hand and want to play the latest games on your laptop, as well as be the cool kid in school for a day.

Else, get a regular one in a $1000 price range or something like it. Don't pay for stuff you'll never or hardly use .

For ****'s sake, newbie, if you go with an Alienware or Voodoo, all you're paying for is the logo and some flashy case. On top of that, you can get a similarly cool case for less money.

If you're really concerned about having a high end rig, build your own. Failing that, just order in all the parts and have someone more technically minded build it for you.


And yes, I know this thread's half a month old, but slapping this kid for wanting to buy a designer computer when it'll run like a high street brand machine counts as a valuable contriubution.
