Default I think I'm literally about to cry.....

okay, so get this, I FINALLY find the FULL Advent Children movie in AVI format, I have it up on Windows Movie Maker, my audio is set, everything's
absolutely awesome........... and then all hell breaks loose........

as I edit the first clip, it's pretty ok, but then as I put the second one on my storyboard, it's like my computer can't take it or something, because it
immediately starts to freeze up and say that damn (Not Responding) and "End Now" message and I'm like ****ing ****!!!! you god damn bastard!!!!!
any other vids I try to use and it's fine, but for some reason WMM can't take that one, maybe it's the size, or the quality, but it just freezes up only a little
bit into the process of editing...... and I really want to cry. SO. any ideas as to why the hell my computer can't take the vid? it plays it just fine....
I just can't edit it without getting my mental ass kicked.

justin she's trying to make an amitaded video file, problem for making an animated music video. either post something constructive or go back to homealone.net.

As for the problem. It could be the size of that part or it could be a number of things having to do with the file. Maybe it's a processing problem. I'm not computer savvy though. Maybe Oti or someone else might be able to help.

yeah someone suggested to me before that it was a file size problem, which is REALLY possible because it IS like.... 600 something megs, not to mention the quality is really good. I was thinking of maybe finding a compressor online or something.... idk. oh, and yes, I'm making AMV's. I absolutely LOVE to.

Buy a hard drive or a external drive.

Then it might not happen again.

That's MR. CAPTAIN to you, boi.

And faded, I enjoyed watching the clip, but I liked passive better than what I've done.

Another boring amv then.

Seriously you AMV makers, the majority don't know how to make them. I saw zero effects used in that clip, just cutting a clip does not qualify as a good amv, there is so much more you can do, even on Windows Movie Maker. Though Premier Pro is far better.

Also why are the same songs on rotation all the time, Puddle of Mudd, LP, Breaking Benjamin are the most used on amvs...there are more music out there geez.

Yep, always inactive with the threads that call to me..

the reason is the file is much too big for your computer. When you try to run it, it is spiking up the CPU and shooting the other programs in the ass, as to say.

You will need more RAM to deal with such. Windows Movie Maker already uses quite a bit of CPU, so this video jsut rapes your computer.

I'd say a decent Processor and at least 1.5gb-2gb of RAM would push back quite well. If your computer is under 1gb of RAM, you don't have a chance.
