Alright, I'll need to know a few things...

OS (Operating System)
Direct X Version
If the files from it's originally installed are TRULY deleted / if the folder is empty and is still there, then delete again. If there's still trouble then you might need to download a COMPLETE deleter and set it to work on getting rid of any directory changes that the original installation performed.... because uninstalling/deleting just "hides" it in the computer and denies access to the zero-byte file (which is basically, all the files are there however the computer now SHOWS that they aren't which is why some games need to be COMPLETELY removed instead of just the normal uninstall/deletion).

Do you have the patches for the game on your computer? If not, then download them and see if you can get it to run.

Also, you might need to free up some memory by ending processes that aren't needed (like a few of those pesky, automatic stealth updates even when denied on the Windows platform - particularly XP and Vista suffer from these updates so I call it the "Microsoft Update Plague" because it's a sheer pain in the ass whenever I try to play VIII on my laptop).

Basically, need more information please.
