Sig. Problems...

Ok, I've been trying to make a sig ever since I signed up here, and every time I do, It won't let me upload it... says it's too large a file. I've tried uploading it to Imageshack, making the pic smaller, and changing image filesto less quality types. Can anyone tell me how to get my sig. on here? Thanks in advance.

Well, what file type are you using?

Level of compression? Animated, or static/still?

File ratio (height and width)

... Also, don't use .PNG unless you're going to use a simple image with a transparent outline. Otherwise, if it's just a banner or something then it's going to blow the file size out of proportion.

Basically, need more information. That's bit of a given for really any computer problems or help for things like this.

well i tired png, jpg, and bmp. It's only like 50x50 or somethin, i though making it smaller would work but no. My file is 30 somethin kb, and i can only do 10 kb. And its a still picture, croped and edited in photoshop.

Alright, upload it to something like PhotoBucket, ImageShack or something and send it to me in a PM and I'll fix it for you.

But Garland and some others had this problem, I told them to just type this for themselves -
[img] URL HERE! [/img]
Then put the URL between the image tags and it should work. If not, sorry....

Thanks, it worked, i kept trying to put in the url, and use the browse my computer thing. Thanks again.
