Glitchy Screen

I have actual footage of what happens whenever I try to record anything on my laptop.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this? Some days it'll record others... well... what happens in the video is a mild glitch in contrast to what I've seen recently.

If you haven't got a suggestion on how to solve it, perhaps suggest a better program for me to record/capture my screen that will also record sound from whatever I'm doing as it would be extremely helpful.

It's just happened so frequently, it's become an actual joke among a fair amount of people and I just want this to stop happening when I'm trying to record gameplay footage or promotional stuff I've been sent.

^ And yes, I KNOW. My wallpaper is because I've been playing RE games since I haven't had anything SE that's new to play for a while. Normally I have Sir Seifer on my laptop...

But on a different note, that looks pretty kewl. kinda like an interface being hacked or a screen from a post apocalyptic world.

My god, you have no idea some of the crap I get with this issue.

This shows up before the footage of the issue, from that video starts. It's my password and/or biometrics program which starts to bug and it makes my laptop start beeping continually.

At least I can fix that first one, it's just when it starts to do what it did in the video, THEN I have to reboot it.

Have you tried de-bugging everything? that might help... but i dont know to much about these things. i dont have these problems. ever.

I've debugged everything, I know the password/biometrics manager DOES glitch every so often but I haven't found the cause of the glitchy screen issue.

I've done everything, it still happens every now and again. I'm starting to wonder if it was codecs or something causing the issue.

Well, everything is updated and if it's not updated it updates generally every few minutes.

The codecs are of a singular pack, K-Lite Mega and all are separated so that can't be the issue. I'm just wondering if it was caused by a game installation that's having issues due to encryption so I can't capture gameplay... *Shrugs* Many things it could be.

Well, I haven't worked out the problem yet. Hasn't happened very often since.

iTunes?... i totaly wiped that from my HDD and back uo memory. and then some. never used nor liked it. never will either.

I don't mind it, as I go through the iTunes store to randomly look for other music when I'm too lazy to have a look online.

It used to be fine, until the later 7.-- updates to the 8.-- updates which now skip and lag whenever stuff is loading and after it starts that, everything else lags and it's not the computer. iTunes causes it and Apple are completely useless. I'm only still using it because Apple had a hissyfit about people using other programs to unlock their iPods so now we've all had to go back to iTunes. DX

It's not causing the glitchy screen issue, so the iTunes topic can stick to it's own thread.

I'm starting to suspect the cause of the issue is Bloodymare: Requiem... I'm going to have to test this theory.

I hope it's not, as I like playing it and I don't feel like making a virtual harddrive and/or harddrive partition on my laptop at the moment just to keep it on there without causing the glitchy screen (how about we call it UTOC? "Umbrella taking over the computer"?) issue.

Not really clever, so it doesn't need any kudos.

I'm going to reboot my laptop again, but I think it could be Bloodymare causing the issue. I don't want to uninstall it though.

Well, the weird lag issue is solved by a reboot... haven't encountered the UTOC issue as of yet. I believe it may be a glitch caused by one of my screen recording programs and Bloodymare.

I think it might be solved, but that means I'll need to get a new recording software.

CamStudio is now refusing to record audio no matter what tweaking I do to my system and RE4 has crashed, Bloodymare, TTG and other games have crashed when I've started up the recording. I'm thinking codec issue within the program is making the codecs act up in combination to the graphics/video card. DX
