How the fudge do I get this damn EXE to work? It always have server problems for me, even though it says over 3000 other players are playing it

I'm getting annoyed and frustrated lol

I keep day dreaming about it. Its okay to use too, because Nintendo gave them a "A-oh-kay" if they didn't charge money.

Since I own no DS, I wanted to use this because I'm a pokemon freak

Anyone know how to fix my problem?

What operating system are you using?

Vista Home Basic. It has enough to play the game and stuff, as I got it working once.

Vista Notes: If you are having trouble running any PWO program on Vista try the following:
Make sure you have UAC turned off
Run it in XP compatibility
Right Click and run as Administrator

Vista does seem to have a lot of compatability problems. What is the error message you get?

Just always a server down when I know people are playing it.

What does UAC mean and how do I run in XP compatibility? Do I right click and select it?

It also won't allow me to start a new account...it says "page down; may have been removed"...

The program runs fine then, it sounds more like a network issue. Check and make sure that your firewall is allowing the program access through it. Also ensure that you aren't using a proxy. Many schools, universities, internet cafes, etc all use proxies, and these require different settings.

Most likely problem is your firewall. What do you use?

The box comes up and everything, asks me to log in but its stick on logging in.

The forums says the server done, but three people say they are playing it. Look for the red box on the top right.

I have my proxy set to none right now and my firewall doesn't stop it...

Can you log into any other types of web-applet programs? I can't really think of too many examples or other web-applet programs, apart from something like online poker. If you can log into other applet programs, then it is isolated to the Pokemon program, and if not, then to the server.

How long have you been trying for?

A couple of days. It says server for PWO is currently down for Blue and Diamond. I could try again in the morning...?

Really freakin' good! Its almost better than real Pokemon because you can battle everyone and capture every pokemon....free and legally!

Although, because so many people are on it, the servers are most of the time down. But, they get em up quickly! You should totally check it out!

Don't use another Pokemon Online though, because the rest aren't allowed and fool of viruses.

Uh...I dunno. You should just download it or look at screenshots or join the forum and ask.
But from what I saw, it runs like an actual game, only millions of others are playing as well.

Just download the client. That's all you need. Than, if the servers aren't down, start an account using the client and than start to play!
