sure it happens, but not nearly to the same extent that PS2's would just crap out on you. even so, fear of the slim chance of failure is no reason not to buy a system. how paranoid would you have to be?
also, i have to question why so many of you are automatically giving the Wii credit for better gameplay, just because it's different. sure, the remote can be fun, but there's no telling how many games will actually make solid use of it, rather than make it a forced gimmick (similar to games on the DS). i would hope it's the former, but even then, gameplay superiority should not automatically be awarded.
you know, if you switch the PS3 and Xbox360 around in Levis' quote, it'll be accurate. speaking of media hub, the 360 has an option for HD-DVD, and will soon have IPTV available, which basically means you'll be able to watch and record television like a Tivo, all while talking to friends or playing games.
