The first annual American Anime Awards, which took place on February 24 at the New York Comic Con, boasted several awards... the most prestigious of which was probably Best Anime Feature... And guess who walked away with it.
The Best Anime Feature award went to Square Enix's Final Fantasy VII Advent Children. America has spoken... Advent Children is the GREATEST ANIME EVER.
Ok, maybe not, but it did beat out the likes of Akira, Pokemon 8, Fullmetal Alchemist - The Movie, and Inuyasha 4.
