Draconis had seen enough, they had to leave, rain or not. "We're leaving. We've been here for far to long as it is, and we have no idea how many werewolves are actually out there hunting us down as we speak."
"Then you'll probably want these." Mara came back out from the back room, she was visibly shaken from what had just happened, but she was carrying two parkas, one for Sara and one for Draconis.
"Thanks." Draconis would have greated this gesture with a smile, had he been in a better mood, but he graciously accepted the gift as best as his current mood would allow. He went to give Sara her parka and saw the hawk. There was something odd about the bird.
"Leave it here." Zewd suddenly spurted. "You two have enough on your hands, and I assure you we'll take good care of your new little friend." In reality, Zewd felt the same way Draconis did. Black hawks weren't exactly common for the area, and she wanted to be more safe than sorry.
Draconis walked out into the rain heading through the maze of trees in the forest. The smell of rain in a forest always soothed his nerves, and he felt himself able to relax as he turned east to go to the cemetary the werewolf had mentioned.
