First of all, I want to say thank you guys for the wonderful feedback <3<3<3
You know it does mean a lot to me, I hope to always stir something in your minds with my writings, it is indeed satisfying to me

Anyways, because of a special request I had to dig up something different since I am not really the “story” type of writer but more of a poet; I decided to post this short story thingy I started long time ago and it was fun to read again as I found it, lol. I hope you enjoy, please let me know if you liked xD (yes you, lol)



~She sits in front of the fire, smiling at her creations and says with such delightful glee, “Oh, this should be perfect for his birthday; I know he will be pleased.” Knowing that there’s still time, she felt a certain desire to write. Thinking about what else she could do for his special day, listening to the inspiring music playing in the background. Many ideas came and went, realizing that it was getting late; she decided to ponder at a later date.

However, she couldn’t deny the joy she felt, making it harder to go to sleep. The excitement was a little overwhelming, she admits, “Well, at least I know part of it for now. Hmm, but I wonder what surprise he has made for me.” remembering another reason why she was so anxious all day. She begins to pace back and forth across the room, her thoughts drifted to the reason why he had to do that in the first place. That certain glow started to fade away, and a fainted smile shows. Shaking her head, she refuses to let her emotions take over again, since they’ve already discussed that issue and it was dealt with. Yet, somehow she couldn’t hide that worried look on her face, the one she always gets right before she realized that it was too late and her emotions were making her over analyze everything.

She gets a bit startled when she sees her reflection on the bedroom window. As she takes a deep breath, she exclaims, “You see? There you go again. Why can’t you just be happy & embrace it already.” She chuckles a little at her own words and silliness for talking to herself, and decides to just get ready to go to bed. Turns off the lights and lays down in that queen size bed holding on to the soft pillows, she just stares at the ceiling. Her restless mind can’t stop, so she tries to focus all wonderful thoughts of him. Smiling, she remembers about the surprise again, still wondering what could possibly be. Without noticing, her eye lids became heavier by the moment and went into a deep slumber.
