Suikoden I and II where both some of the best rpg's i've played that isn't FF. This two games are connected by story (Every Suikoden is somewhat connected, but these games being a little more tight) and you visit same places, get many same characters e.t.c. Both games are magical.
Suikoden 4 was not that good, although a decent game. The bad side of the game according to me, is the story changes too drastic and the color/graphics looks boring and dull.
Suikoden 5 was actually pretty good, but the random encounter rate was too high (Very annoying, considering you barely get any XP from enemies that's around your lvl). And the graphics sucked hard. As for the story...I kinda liked it. ;D
