Well Nomura personally wants more characters in the game but Yusuke has been wanting characters changed to draw in my players to the game itself so it may have characters from XII in it due to XII's popularity among many newer and older Final Fantasy gamers.

I personally think if they have time, they should add in at least 1 or 2 more characters from the latest series like 6, 7, 8 and 10 even. I'd like to see maybe Sabin, Vincent, Tifa, Seifer and Auron. And why not Vaan? I would have thought Seifer be the natural opponent to Squall, but I guess the bad guys in this are all Emperors and the sort. Can't wait to see Sephiroth in action.
