Well as fan videos / AMVs' are also a sub-category of fan art and seeing the statement for what should be long in the Realm of the Arts - that sub-forum is for art and fan art so you should be right posting them there.
((Though I am not FFE Crew member, in my own forums/clubs/guilds - personally I have users post theirs in the fan art sub-forum)).
