Garland: Versus XIII is stated by the main directors - Kitase and Hashimoto stated it would be exclusive, Kitase also stated that XIII will and should be out in 2009 before they start the global localization (meaning translations, formatting, editing and shipment). They are also changing the size of the game, not to make it smaller - instead they are branching it out to multiple DVD discs whereas only one or two Blu-Ray discs (I personally hope that some of the people who get the Brick's version miss out on a disc or two - it's actually happened in some of the editions of Final Fantasy XI or other games released onto the PC system by SquareSoft/Square-Enix by accident and occasionally by Game Store staff members removing them. Heheheheh. Suckers).

RedCloud: Trust me, if I had fifty cents for every time any Microsoft product I've had or have currently has screwed up I would basically be rich - much hate. I have to agree about the majority of exclusive games being better because generally the production team/development divisions are more focused on it instead of having to reprogram the damn thing to work on another console. And you kinda forgot the old missed VI on PSX, it sucked that they didn't release the fully 3D Version of it instead of that updated port.

And exactly about the DS/DS Lite, hell the Wii is the the best selling console in America right now as well as what Wada stated before - Handheld consoles are leading the market so there will be more releases from us for their range in the future.

I doubt Nomura is happy about this, he personally doesn't like the Brick. He prefers the PlayStation/Sony system and stated that the PlayStation 3 gave him more artistic freedom among other things which is why he wanted the "main" games in the Fabula Nova Crystallis series to be exclusive to the PlayStation 3 and not the Brick. I bet this turnabout has turned out like some of the company's staff disagreements (which escalate pretty quickly and easily) during production....
