Re: Why no Cerberus?
Heh, as they should be!
I know, it is fairly similar however if it were done by Garland... well... you know it would mean trouble for the hero and/or heroes of the game as the Heirophant has nothing at all aside from a few cheap parlor-styled tricks up his sleeves. Not to mention that whenever I watch the new KH trailers, I constantly link Garland to the distorted world (just think of the Chaos Shrine and other sections of the initial Final Fantasy sort of appearing in the world in a similar style to that of another SE game Drag-on-Dragoon/Drakengard), was more or less my thought pattern, due to Drakengard's world have set seals to keep the peace and stop it and the time flow from becoming distorted, letting monsters in and overall destroying their world but it's also been shown that the characters can actually go through time/space overall when their seals were broken ((a main character and his dragon ended up in modern day Tokyo in one of the endings)).
Sorry, just posting out a general thought for that matter.
I do agree that Setzer wasn't done properly when he appeared in KHII, and since Dissidia it could be possible to actually explain Dissidia (and as the designs could only have minor adjustments or could simply be reused) on the whole in a very close relation to KH, considering Nomura was shot down a couple of weeks after it was released in Japan for plans on working on ANOTHER Dissidia game. I have to again, agree with you there Garland.
Yes, ViVi was in IX however it would be nice to see some more characters from IX as ViVi was bundled in with the Disciplinary Committee and seemed a tad lonely in his overall contrasting design with the other characters, which is why it would be good to put in some more IX characters to even out the balance as the presence of the VII characters is almost overbearing at times.
