I needn't import books or movies, they're all freely available. For example, I loudly had an absolutely politically and socially incorrect conversation in the middle of a Police Station here and was waving around another novel that has been banned in many parts of the world due to it's views and yet I took a wander before-hand and found the same novel in more than ten bookstores across my state. I wasn't arrested, nor did anyone attempt to censor and/or silence my rambling.

((Mind you, we ended up at the police station as one of the scientists' I know, lives down the road had someone breaking into his house when I was going past earlier and we ended up having to go down to the station and none of the officers either one of us knew were on and the ones we did know suggested to not have such discussions and/or debates within the station due to some ideals being politically incorrect in some areas of the world and/or state due to a variety of reasons)).

The only forms of censorship I have ever encountered have been with video games (the uncensored versions are still sold here regardless so it happens rarely - a simple example is FFVIII with the green blood instead of red as the releases OUTSIDE of Japan were all automatically censored before it was localized specifically, however I have a copy of the Japanese version that I bought from a local store here), sexist pigs, religious sects and people from other cultures/social ideals.
