OtherSpace: The Farthest Star

This is sort of a shameless plug on my part, but I figure I should be helpful and point out any new and interesting RP's for people who love to RP. Sounds pretty logical, don't it?

While I think this should belong in the RP section, it didn't seem that appropriate, so I figured to just stick it here.

To point out; this is a text-based RP, which is an off-shoot of a MUD(Multi User Dimension), called a MUSH. Much like the RP forums you see on other sites, but theres not waiting involved.

OtherSpace: The Farthest Star is an immersive interactive roleplaying saga that got its initial start back in 1998. While the game so far spans years of contributions by both staff and players, there is an equally extensive history in the theme itself. OtherFlash consists of a period of time when special events will be run to tell those stories as they happened in the distant past or might happen in the distant future.


In order to participate, a player must simply create a character on the logon screen, go through the FlashGen exit, complete the process and choose an event. All the information you need is in those rooms or the Wiki (Main Page - OtherVerse Wiki - a Wikia wiki). What makes OtherFlash special is that participants will only require a passing knowledge of MUSH commands and a description for their character. No biographies or detailed processes! This will give people a chance to try OtherSpace out with no strings attached. So come on down and give it a shot!


FlashGen has opened on July 13, 2008. But we are still accepting new players all the time.

Some of the events include:
- A group investigating a mysterious asteroid near Pluto, where they will find more than they bargained for. Even in the deepest recesses of their own human hearts!
- The brave crew of the Nadyezchda ("Hope") as they stand to defend their homeworld, Youngster, from the invading forces of a brutal enemy.
- New Paris is overtaken by rebels who demand independence. An entire fleet is dispatched to bring this insurrection to an end. Peace must be achieved, in the name of all member worlds... and the Holy Mother.
