It's a new forum we (finally) started! We need members and we need help with the layout (it's kinda bare right now so bear with me). It is an FF forum, but it also contains a wide range of discussion boards suitable for a wide range of interests. This is my first experience with being a forum admin and I need as many members as I can get. ^_^

I would go on there, except there's so much white in the forum theme. Could you change it to an off-white if you can actually modify the forum theme slightly? ((Even though I'm wearing sunglasses, it still makes my eyes hurt within the first few seconds looking on your new forum)).

I know, it's very white and bare. And okay, no prob. I guess that means no tie-dye skin (my coadmin found it and I was like DO IT!! but I don't wanna if it's gonna hurt people's eyes). I'll tell her to go look for offwhites/not-bright skins when I see her later. It'd ROCKKKK to have you on board! <3

Cool, or you could install a variety of skins and leave the Skin Changer option up.
So, you could have the tye-die skin whilst having other skins to choose from.

I doubt it would rock to have me on-board. Anyway, sorry it's just that bright solid colours are pretty much a no-no in webdesign. Within the first fifteen seconds, if it causes irritation to one's eyes then it's going to annoy a lot of people and solid white should really only be used in small amounts as the brightness on screen/monitor displays make it worse as it varies for each guest/visitor/members' monitor/screen and makes it the overall better choice to choose off-white or mixed colours instead of exact, solid shades.

@Lamont: Maybe I could do that at a later date. It sounds too complex right now. For now me and my coadmin will make sure that the skin isn't anything bright. (She hates bright skins too, she says.) And trust me, it would own to have you on board.

@Smattle: Yeah, it's a bit small right now. Don't worry, it'll get bigger. We'll focus on publicizing it after we clean it up a bit.

Whee, my friend has found us the loveliest skin! Yay! Now the place looks a lot less bare (and it shouldn't hurt your eyes anymore, Lamont xD). We will be getting a chatroom soon and the same friend is going to be working on a banner. Isle Of FF is finally getting some life!
