it's been a while since i've seen clockwork orange.
it's a ****ing incredible film and cemented Kubrick as a visionary in my eyes.
apparently the book is more brutal than the film.

The book is amazing, but extremely difficult to read due to the language it's written in. In fact, the only book I can think of that's comparable in that regard is Heinlein's The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress. A work of genius though. I'm not sure I'd say it's more brutal than the film though; the final chapter, which was omitted from the film, [spoiler]shows Alex moving away from the life of violence he once embodied[/spoiler].
But yeah, amazing film too, one of Kubrick's best for sure.
