Appearance:Rosalyne has deep mahogany brown eyes with ripples of pale green spreading throughout. Her hair is dark silver, even though it was a rather odd color for a dryad. She kept it long but typically tied it back; rarely did she wear it all down. Her dress consists of mostly greens and browns as to help blend in with the forest better. Her top was a forest green midriff that was slung over one shoulder. Her bottoms are a dark brown pair of pants, only reaching to her mid-calf. A lighter green wrap was over that but was short, not even reaching the middle of her thigh. She also wore a necklace that was a small strip of brown material with a scarlet stone on the end; she doesn’t remember where she got it but she’s had it as long as she can remember. A thicker brown band was on the upper part of her left arm and she also wore two gold rings, one around her left ankle and the other on her right wrist.
Personality: Rosalyne is stubborn; she never gives up without a fight. She’s snarky and protective of her things. She’s not too friendly to strangers or even those of her own kind, though those who befriend her will find her a great ally. She also hates being called short (though she knows to most everyone else she is) and hates when they mistake her for some other being (i.e. leprechaun, nymph, etc.) She enjoys time to herself and thunderstorms, simply because with each new rain more life blossoms in the forest and everything seems clean and refreshed.
History: Rosalyne was born a little over one-hundred and thirteen years ago on November twenty-second. She led a fairly normal dryad childhood, though she is still young as far as dryads go. She can be clumsy at times which has led to many injuries, such as broken bones and a scar on her right side that extends from the front and curves around to the back, almost reaching her spine. It happened when she was about twenty-nine years old; she had slipped off a cliff and hit a rather sharp tree branch on the way down. Other than her various injuries as a child, the rest of her life was fairly normal up to this point.
