Soooooooooo....is there others here who beat this? And by 4WM Challenge I mean the bat**** insane task of using four white mages in the first FF1 to defeat the game....with all the hardness intact...

I've been planning to do this for a while, just as soon as I beat Okami and get a game save on FFXII with the Zodiac spear.
I have a completed save on the PS1 version so I can do it on the harder difficulty aswell It should be rather interesting. |

Here's a hint. Level up. A lot. You will die. A lot. So be prepared to spam the Shell ability and use every trick in the book.

Have you managed to complete this yourself Dawn? You've mentioned it before, but you've never stated whether you've completed it or not.
Istvan: If you're going to try this on the PS1 version, you're going to have to turn off all the options that alter in the otptions screen that make the game easier, otherwise it won't be the same as playing the original NES version. Me? I'm not insane enough to actually try this!

Then you probobly will need about level 99 to beat this game. But the last boss isn't that hard anyway..
the closest thing to "insane" shiat i ever did was beating Midgar Zolom in FFVII at very low level instead of fixing chocobo....and that's not really insane XD

this isn't actually too hard to do... you need to level up alot, thats all.. but its pretty easy too if you make early trips to Chaos Temple and level up on undead using Dia..
I'd say 4 x Monk is worse. They can deal a ton of damage but they also take a ton of damage and can't heal without items. |
