Dawn of Souls is probably one of the worst remakes I've played in a good long while. The original, was always a challenge, and you always had to think about what you were doing. The difficulty in Dawn of Souls is so horribly easy when you compare it to the original. Anyway, I was wondering if the PSP 20th Anniversary editions are any better in this regard. Is the difficulty still intact? And, since I'm lazy, what new additions (besides graphics) are there to the game?

the PSP retains the dawn of souls difficulty...
the additions to PSP version of FF1 is the Labyrinth of Time, a new grindfest dungeon with 30 different puzzles and new optional bosses (Chronodia) with a bunch of rather cool new equipment. FF2 comes with the new Arcane Sanctuary.. also a new dungeon, makes use of keywords and such.. introduces ultimate weapons for everyone, as well as 2 new spells (tho u can only choose 1) |
