FF 1 and multiplayer spin offs
When Square decided to make their multiplayer FF games (I'm mostly looking at Crystal Chronicles) I think they should have taken more from the original Fantasy. The thing I always love about that game is that you get to make yourself be whoever you want. I always name the Chars after me and my friends, then pretend we are on a Final Fantasy adventure!
