FFIV-I'm stuck
|
|
|
On the moon, broke Cecil's brother's evil trance, I go into this palace thing, run into a blue dragon and he completely $%^&s me up.
Honest to god the moon is a hard place, I'm surprised I've gotten this far.

Try leveling up. That usually works in this game.

Well wouldn't yah know it, as I was typing that message, my puppy grabbed the cartridge and started chewing on it.
We should have left it on the side of the road.

If it's the cartridge version it might not be dead, you know. Those things could really take the abuse. XD

That's right. If it's a cartridge and there's only indentations not actual wiring that's been messed up it might still work...of course you're risking damaging the console so I can't really recommend using it again.
And leveling up massively really is the only way to beat this game unless you plan to abuse the duplication trick and get a dozen excaliburs for Edge to throw.

For they could not love you, but still your love was true
And when no hope was left in sight, on that starry starry night
You took your life as lovers often do,
But I could have told you, Vincent,
This world was never meant for one as beautiful as you

As stated above, the solution to your problem would be to level up, it's like that in most FF games from this one and below, because not many fights rely on strategy.
And for your other problem if your using a Snes cartridge you could buy another on eBay or at a store or you could just buy the GBA version. Good luck.

Copies of the SNES game are crazy expensive, from what I'm told. Otherwise I'd own one myself, because yeah, great game. Even though it had a **** translation on the SNES

Leveling can be a hastle, and a bit boring in a turn based rPg. But a required number IS kinda expected when fighting in the last dungeon, id say the rule of 50+. If ur guys r level 50+ then u can beat the main game xD. To beat the boredom of running around in a field for 52 hours, perhaps u could tackle on some lesser available side quests along the way. To me im stuck on teh part after the game, in the GBA version with the bonus quests. when im goin through the cave to get to the Quest itself, im greeted by a room that has to have me catch an INDESTRUCTIBLE FROOOOOOOG! that lil 16 bit nightmare just stares at me, then pwnes me Soooooo hard..... advice? he also runs away
