On the moon, broke Cecil's brother's evil trance, I go into this palace thing, run into a blue dragon and he completely $%^&s me up.
Honest to god the moon is a hard place, I'm surprised I've gotten this far.

Well wouldn't yah know it, as I was typing that message, my puppy grabbed the cartridge and started chewing on it.
We should have left it on the side of the road.

That's right. If it's a cartridge and there's only indentations not actual wiring that's been messed up it might still work...of course you're risking damaging the console so I can't really recommend using it again.
And leveling up massively really is the only way to beat this game unless you plan to abuse the duplication trick and get a dozen excaliburs for Edge to throw.

As stated above, the solution to your problem would be to level up, it's like that in most FF games from this one and below, because not many fights rely on strategy.
And for your other problem if your using a Snes cartridge you could buy another on eBay or at a store or you could just buy the GBA version. Good luck. ![]() |

Leveling can be a hastle, and a bit boring in a turn based rPg. But a required number IS kinda expected when fighting in the last dungeon, id say the rule of 50+. If ur guys r level 50+ then u can beat the main game xD. To beat the boredom of running around in a field for 52 hours, perhaps u could tackle on some lesser available side quests along the way. To me im stuck on teh part after the game, in the GBA version with the bonus quests. when im goin through the cave to get to the Quest itself, im greeted by a room that has to have me catch an INDESTRUCTIBLE FROOOOOOOG! that lil 16 bit nightmare just stares at me, then pwnes me Soooooo hard..... advice? he also runs away

I find it easier to level up in turn based, random encounter games since then you don't have to point your eyes at everything and be focused. Just run around and kill while eating or sleeping or anything else that's really cool....

I would have to agree with everyone else it all depends on the level you are at when you get to the moon

If i remember correctly, isn't there a glitch where u can make yourself have two weapons by highlighting one in the fighting screen and then running away. I really forgot the whole trick, its been a while

That glitch has been fixed for years and years. Not since the days of the wonder swan, Cheatingway...

IIRC, the blue dragons pop in the final three or floors before Zeromus. I usually run from most of those encounters they're usually more painful than the final boss.
Buy ethers before going into the final dungeon. Make sure you picked up the equipment from the mini-bosses scattered in the final dungeon. Give Rosa your best bow, have a variety of elemental arrows. Use Aim when not healing. Blink is your friend spam it. Remember Rydia can equip bows too. Edge should be keeping his own Image spell up. Kain should always be jumping. Make sure you have the best sword on Cecil. |

Not!
![]() Also, I think tis guys been MIA for a few years :/ But Irregardless, If he was playing the DS version, he'd have a much harder time than he would with the Easy game SNES version. And just incase, I find that if you NEVER run from random battles, even if they got tough guys in em', once you brake your characters into them, you're pretty much invincible.
