Out of interest, what did you name your 4 characters on Final Fantasy I?

Mine were:

Warrior - Keyran
Warrior - Scott (after my friend)
Red Mage - Sid V (after Sid Vicious)
Thief - Link (After the legendary Link)

If you look at the original art work of FINAL FANTASY I, they're all guys.
Your just gonna have to imagine that they're the opposite sex.

I didn't play FFI until it was released on the PS1, so when I finally did get to play it, I just named my party after characters from other FF games with the same/similar abilities.
The only one I actually remember is the name of my black Mage, Vivi :P

For the life of me I can't remember what I named my usual party but the four white mage party was named after me, my sister, and my two friends: Dawn, Daph, Ange, Mary. Me as Dawn, my friend Daphne as Daph, my other friend Angela as Ange and my sister Marianne as Mary.

All female force. Go, go girl power! :P

I think that if Square had done their own names, they probably wouldn't have been anything terribly original, just some common Japanese names, and then the translators would have botched them up and put in common American names, like James, or Brian. They didn't thought that the names were as important as gravel anyway, so they wouldn't have given them as much thought if they did put them in.

I think that it was better this way, even though I wish that they had put in cool names.
