Favorite FF1 Party?
|
|
For me it would be Fighter, Red Mage, White Mage, Black Mage. Yes, yes, I know the Red Mage is **** later on but the first half of the game is the toughest and having double black and white magic really helps in places like the Ice Cavern (I didn't shiver from the cold, ****ing Mindflayers). Fighter of course is there to take the hits and give 'em, Whitey's there for the healing and the B. Mage is necessary for craving up multi enemies.
It was a pretty kick ass team.

For they could not love you, but still your love was true
And when no hope was left in sight, on that starry starry night
You took your life as lovers often do,
But I could have told you, Vincent,
This world was never meant for one as beautiful as you

I was doing good with a White Mage, Black Mage, Fighter and a Monk. Or was it two warriors and no monk...
Been a while. I'm still pissed that I accidentally forgot to save my state when I closed my emulator.

Warrior, Thief, Black Mage, and White Mage. Only played through once, I'll have to play again after I complete FFVI and FFV Advanced.

I think that last I played, it was a Knight, Black Mage, White Mage, and a Monk. Encountered quite few problems along the way actually - the odd occassion where a boss would batter me senseless, but nothing impossible!
Been a while since I played FF1 actually, might have to go back to it and find some random sidequests, wherever they might be...assuming they even exist!

I go with:
Fighter
Monk
White Mage
Black Mage
I figuer with this set up I get the best of all of the worlds. I get the most powerful of everything I'm going to need, plus I can get more of the earlier spells with 2 mages.

I use a warrior, a thief, a white mage and a Black mage.
Power, speed, restoration and elemental damage makes this the best all round party imo.
