SE should never have even made AC, let alone a sequel to what was a terrible film.

all they should do now is remake FFVII and then move on.

anyway whats the point of another FF7 sequel movie? if they want to make another movie i'd rather see it based off another one of the FF games or something original.

SE is starting to wear the FFVII popularity a bit thin, giving us things we really didn't want but they're giving us anyway. Many people wanted a sequal game, they gave us a movie. They showed us a tech demo for PS3, and seeing how cool it was, we wanted a PS3 remake. Instead, we got a couple of other releases, FFVII DoC, FFVII Crisis Core, and that one cell phone release, FFVII Before Crisis. Things must be getting lost in the translation.

And for the record, no, FFVII AC does not need a sequal. The movie was supposed to be an aftermath and create its own closure. Also for the record, Tifa and Cloud are never going to get together.

Wouldn't it all get a bit too much, I mean they've already done loadsa things now DOC and all that.I think AC kinda finished it off and it made a nice ending. But a remake of FF7 is cool ^-^Besides wouldn't it be so hard to think of a story it would hurt my brain lol

Yeah, it had a sequel, in game form and it was called Dirge of Cerberus, and due to some freak of nature phenomenon it managed to be worse than AC. I remember waiting for what, like 2 years for a 90 minute long movie, and it turned out to be over hyped crap.

FF VII didn't really need a sequel, but I figured that if they made one, it'd probably still be pretty good because Square is one of the best game companies when it comes to story telling. But nooooooooooooooooo, they had to follow through on their "We can't write decent plots for crap" thing that some how happened after the Enix merger.

Not only was the plot bad, but it was so unrealistic, even for a "fantasy". Cloud was shot in the freaking back, and at that point I was happy because they might actually do something surprising or important with it having Cloud die, but once again, Cloud just got back up with a pissed off look on his face. I could rant about how bad this movie is for a long time, but I guess I'll just leave it at answering the question again.

Every reason I stated above is a reason why a sequel should never be made to Advent Children.

Advent Children did bring in a lot of money. not only that Square also profits from a lot of their other games also. I dont see how making another sequel would do any good and i dont see it going anywhere making another FF7 movie. I'm fully convinced that if Square ever releases another game with a -2 on the end of it, someone is going to blow up their headquarters. I never played Final Fantasy X-2, but I've heard awful things.

I don't know if that was a joke or not. E-sarcasm is hard. But no it wasn't a music video. It was Cloud Vs. Sephiroth 2. This time it's personal and they tried to attach a story to it like on Wrestle mania as to why the two wrestlers are pissed off at each other.

Come to think of it. A movie about Rick Flair Vs. Hulk Hogan would be better than Cloud Vs. Sephiroth.

all will come of another FF7 Movie sequel will be nothing but a fanboy's dream. its highly unlikly that it would be any good either. visually and music i enjoyed AC. but honestly everything else wasnt impressive, mainly the story. most likely another movie would have another bad storyline. the only new thing worth doing right now is remaking FF7 game and leave it at that. no more sequels, movies and spinoffs.

Whats the point? I mean hell, ac wasn't really what anyone was expecting, I think. Don't get me wrong the voice acting was superb(besides Sephy voiced by Superman), the soundtrack just AWESOME, the story just wasn't there for me. And a sequel, all you will see is another sephiroth battle and thats all. Now say for another Final Fantasy hell yeah!! But for a sequel, that would be the biggest mistake for the final fantasy series (besides ff 11 and the spirits within). A move to ten would be AWESOME!! Think about it a world with a reborn sin named tidus. There are so many things they could do with it( just don't have anything to do with 10-2).
