played the game about half way and i lost interest because of work and college. to be honest i wasnt much into it. i did though like how the three can switch jobs and become white, red, black mages, theifs, shooters, etc. the story though wasnt good enough for me to stick with it. nothing personal but i thought of it being a more girl based game.
i still agree with that though.

Alright, you'll probably get this from a moderator as well, but this should be posted in the 3rd Gen Console Section. Fear not though, it'll probly get moved there soon enough, but just for future reference, this section is largely dedicated to the (Somewhat) rational debating of world, social, ecconomic or whatever types of issues that are not directly related to Final Fantasy.
And to remain relevant, I couldn't tell you what I thought cause I haven't played it.

While I dont think it was a great game, I thought it wasn't all that bad...
I liked the fight system, it was fast paced and pretty fun. The unique classes made it fun to play, and while moves like trigger happy made it more intense than the usual turnbased. Also the ability to change classes in battle was very helpful. But what i didnt like about it was the fact that the game was soooooo girly. It was almost embarrasing having to play as a character like yuna. and then there's the whole "lets all sing and make the world happy" thing. It might be alright for all the girl gamers, but its really not a final fantasy kind of thing. Plus the fact that there were only 3 playable characters made it less fun too. If you had even had the occasional chance to play as some other characters it wouldve been pretty fun. |

It wasn't a game made with girls in mind, anyway. All that scantily-clad eye candy was clearly intended for a male audience.Quote:

FFX-2 is a really kool game. It has a happy care free feel to it, something no other FF game had or has.
So many mini games...haha there fun. And the Garment Grid / Dress Spear system along with the return of the ATB was great. I really liked this game, and Rikku, Yuna and Paine are hott too. Don't get me wrong, i don't fall in love with video game characters, but think about it. I would rather play for Yuna than Ashe. All work and no play make for a boring game

On top of that, the whole plot involves conflict between two factions, the downward spiral of society due to said conflict, and a vengeful spirit who keeps possessing people while trying to destroy the world with a gigantic Machina... not to mention Brother's completely CREEPY attempts at expressing his romantic attraction to Yuna, who is his own cousin. |
