Post The Ivalice Alliance

What have they announced for this chain so far?

- Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War [PSP]
- Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings [NDS]
- Final Fantasy Tactics Advance: The Sealed Grimoire [NDS]

Looking to be really interesting, I think SE is really taking advantage of their compilation direction with these games. I'm personally looking forward to the port of FFT to the PSP, it's very deserving since the original PS version is so hard to find nowadays without spending a fortune on EBay.

What's the verdict on this chain? So much Final Fantasy everywhere, I might have just creamed my pants.

My guess is that this has mostly to do with all success that FFXII has been having. As someone here said with FFVII the same can be said for XII. They're milking it for all its worth. Glad to see Tactics is making a come back though.

Right now they are at their peek and are squeezing every last drop out of it that they can. It's crazy. I see Final Fantasy everywhere! haha.

The world of Ivalice is truly the one which needs a compilation. Square should have started this years ago with the origianl Final Fantasy Tactics and Vagrant Story. Instead they expanded a universe which didn't need it at all and was suppose to be a standalone game. (FFVII)

The remake for FFT will be sweet because that is something every avid RPG fan has to have played. This is something I actually approve Square of doing.

I'm looking forward to Revenant Wings mostly, but I can't wait to get my hands on the sequel to Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.

I'm looking forward to Lion's War, which will be on PSP if I'm not mistaken?

Same here. They're finally making a compilation that isn't going to suck, well at least I hope not. Everything looks good so far. Revenant Wings, I'm not to crazy about, but it should be alright. Not having a DS I don't really care too much for it anyhow.

Don't care to much about either Tactics game...played the original and didn't care for it at all :/

Can't wait to play Revenant Wings though.

According to the first post, yes.

I finally found a reasonably priced copy of the original Final Fantasy Tactics, but now I can't find my memory card. After I beat FFT, I'll have to try out the remake whenever it's released. This, in my opinion, is much better than the Final Fantasy VII Compilation.
