FF: Crystal Chronicles

Did you like this spin off of Final Fantasy? Does it even deserve the title of final fantasy? Tell me what you think of this game for the Nentendo Gamecube.

I loved the multi feature of Crystal C. it was really good. Only thing I hated was the repeted gameplay. It was the same 24/7. Hack, Slash, Beat Boss, Get Mirra (sp?). Maybe a little more depth would've helped this game. Also, the graphics were not bad at all either.

I hated this game almost as much as I hated FFX-2. The battle system was OK, but the theme of the game was repetitive. I think the only point of the game was to collect myrrh three times each for God knows how many 'years' (never finished the game, got up to year five) and then that's it. It was just too boring for my liking.

well actually there was a lot more to it then collecting myrrh. you can get as many memories as you can (which something happens if you get 100!!) there is going to that mag mell place and after 6 years of talking to the bird that is not entirely asleep he wakes up a little more each time and so do the other birds. I just have one more years so i do not know what happenes when they are all awake.

the more memories you have the easier the last boss is. It is a pretty good game all in all. but yes it is annoying with the same storyline over and over until you beat the game. That is why Iam excited for the new crystall chronicals for the wii (my brother owns one) and there is also one comming out for the DS.

I liked the teaming up aspect in this game although the restriction in movement and lack of depth in the gameplay caused the game to suffer, Zelda: Four Swords was a much better example of how this sort of game could be fun. I do have some hope that the DS and possibly the Wii version sorts out the problems as it does have potential to be something special.

But if all else fails we've still got DQIX.

I thought that ppl dont give that game justice enough. It had an interesting "save the world from Green house gasses" theme, and it had an art style similar to that of FF IX. It was lenghtly, and hard to Plunder through at times, and it had a questionable battle system which later evolved onto XI and XII's. But it had great looking water effects, nice music, a funny Irish lady who'd talk about fatherly abuse before every level, and a FUN yet, dificult to start mukltiplayer option. However,i believe the DS ring of fates will help alot of the bad sides, in the original. But i do believe CC is INdeed to be concidered a Final Fantasy

I bought it, I played if for 10 minutes... then I realised, I'm never goin' to like this game! I guess when a character doesn't talk, it just doesn't feel like Final Fantasy. My freind, really liked it though. I guess it's a love-hate thing.

I know I diddn't give it a fair chance, but I don't own this game anymore. At the time I wasn't interested.

Believe it or not, this is one of my favorite Final Fantasy games.

I'm not sure exactly what got me, the battle system, the awe-inspiring music, the incredible graphics, or the quirky character design, but I enjoyed this game completely.

It is entirely different from the normal Final Fantasy games, yes, but sometimes difference is better.
