Funniest Final Fantasy?

Some FF's can be as serious as hell, where as others can be as ridiculous in humor as an off beat anime. Either or may have had short or long moments of hilarity in them and this question applies to which Final Fantasy you deem as having the funniest moment or phrase and if so, what split your sides?

For me, it used to be V due to gilgamesh and the rest of the character's constant puns. But i have recently found more giggles from the current game i'm playing: Crystal Chronicles ring of fates. The voices in it are pure win. And even the text messages are hilarious such as the reluctant moogle shop clerk who is forced to read cue card reminiscent to a mexican walmart, and his boss constantly yelling at him for it. * Looks at short Lilty* " Oh My God it's a talking acorn!""No! It's a chupacabra!!"lmao.

i think i was laughing in FFIX a lot. i appreciated how the characters weren't so serious, save-the-world types. tantalus rocks

I reckon it was FF VII, some of Barret's lines where helarious. Steiner in FF IX was funny too.

definitely FF IX. the game is more cartoony than the others, which certainly helps with it being funnier. like when steiner does a Tarzan, and runs straight into the theater ship (or was it some canvas?)

FF9 is certainly the most underappreciated final fantasy, and yet, it is my favorite!

hmm..FFX-2 was pretty fun to me but... I'd say FFVII was up there too

Barret provided the laughs in FF7.
I liked the bickering between Seifer and Zell in FF8.
FF9 would have to be the funniest though.

FF IX all the way. Each FF makes me laugh for different reasons, but IX always has me crackin up the whole way through ,even though I've played it a ton of times. Even the serious portions or escaping from somewhere, the way the characters look and the script is just really funny. My favorite funny scene is the beggining of disc 3, when the love letter is being passed around from character to character. Classic.

FFXII:I laugh everytime Vaan appears on screen.He's...he's hilarious I hate him!!!!
