Dissidia: First Impression (Some Spoilers)

So I've been playing Dissidia for a few hours. The first thing is, the game is rather difficult without being able to read through the menus. The game is telling me a lot of how to play info, and I don't know what it's saying...

Anyways, I was Hero of Light first, you have to be him for the Prologue. He's a good character, a bit slow but strong and somewhat well rounded. I was Squall next (of course) and I am 41% done with his story. Scenes are neat, but again, don't know what people are saying. He controls well, hes fast and has good combos like we were told he would. I know there is more to the gameplay then I can figure out, as the enemies I fight against are doing all kinds of crazy ****, but It's hard to figure out what the pop-up helpers are telling me what to do.

I've fought almost every character. Sephiroth has some good chase-after moves. Exdeath is hard to fight, as he is very good with his guards and is invincible during a lot of his attacks. Kuja and Terra are similar, they move rather quickly and like to shoot magic a lot. I haven't seen Terra use her sword yet, but I have only fought against her once. Tidus seems like he's going to be a very annoying character to fight against, he can throw his blitzball and he is very fast. Zidane is a bit faster, and has long-multi hit combos.

The soundtrack is fantastic, BTW. Oh and the amount of unlockables is insane. I've purchased a lot of stuff with my PP, and only unlocked 4% of the total...

Anyways, I guess I will say some more once I play the game more. Cheers.

Noctis got it back during last Christmas via import or another method not mentioned here. I know cause that's how I got it.

so has anyone finished it? is it worth the buy, even for over the top busy people who barely get to play anymore?

I've played the import quite a lot, and I can tell you that it is very, very good. Even if it is just fan service, it is the best I've ever seen. The level of customization is just incredible, the battle system is fun, and I can't wait for the English version.

hahah, well i guess it really does reek of fan service, but if the replay value's good then ill probably go get it...
