Well, as the title says, this is a general thread to discuss Dissidia, your thoughts and likes/dislikes. Feel free to post online usernames and organise matches... if you want to. (Which I will sadly miss out on due to not having a PS3 *cries*)

I finally got one of the summons from having enough DP left over. That s**t is hard. How do you get Anima?

I'm talking about the summon. I want it, I just can't find it.

Is it just me or is the last story frickin IMPOSSIBLE.

You're supposed to play through the stories multiple times anyway. Newer things open up after awhile. If you spawn a hard battle piece, it usually rewards enough DP to give you that nice gear or summons you want, even Rosetta stones.

What I don't get is how an Enemy can have multiple Star accessories of the same type at the same time but you're aloud to only equip one.
Another annoyance is how equipment becomes stagnant at a certain level unless you have propper materials, to which I still havn't found.

Which materials can't you find, as I might know how to? The last story isn't too hard with my level 100 Cecil, as the AI gets easy to predict later on. I realised that accessories are a big help, especially with the max number of slots. If I really need to win a battle, I can use my *after a certain period of time* (30 seconds, 60, 90, 120, 180) accessories to win after 3 minutes - you deal a whole heap of damage, and the enemies deal 0 That's my strategy.

I'm trying to beat them with my Lvl. 75 Cloud. I beat Cecil but that's it. It was a complete fluke too, I used the Moogle summon and it turned into Water Arcana. Then he used Fire Arcana at the exact same time. When they switched, he had 9999 BP and I had like 800. So it locked me at 9999 and I hit him with an HP attack.

Transmogradust would be a helpful starter.

whenever you're fighting a strong opponant bub, just keep a Magic Pot with you, wait till they own your ass, then get their brave and hit them with an HP attack.

I had my Magic Pot equipped and he was fully charged, but he didn't seem to acknowledge that I was getting the s**t kicked out of me. Must still be mad about that Elixir...

Magic pot only hits if you're not in BraveBreak. My trick is I get them to own me, then get them to attack me in a chase, hit them back with an HP attack reseting my brave, then immediately follow ith Magicpot and try to hit them again.

When that doesn't work, often times just spam HP attacks, and unless you're good at dodging I suggest they be mid-long range ones.

Are you using non-auto magic pot? Because that would be more useful if you don't. That seems like a good strategy, and I might try it for my low levelled people to get exp...
I like the attacks like Terra's Holy combo, which if mastered can use Ultima (hp attack) at the end of the combo... Cloud has Omnislash Version 5, which I haven't got yet.

Also, Where the hell are these supposedly new attack moves for the characters "Exclusive" to the NA version??? The "All new never before seen fully voiced scenes" also seem to be just other characters saying the same line in place of another character.

Well, there's one move that Sephiroth has when you level him up around 40 I believe, and it's called Heaven's Light. It's a move that you can only do in mid-air, in which Sephiroth does a bottom to upward slash under the opponent. It's very effective to use right after someone does a long move. As for the cutscenes, they're all new to me.

Btw, just beat Dissidia =D Would mentioning the extra's in the PP Catalog be a spoiler as well?

I hate him too. He gave me a bit a trouble, even when I was Sephiroth. Like HE can beat him...xD

I still havn't beaten Shade Impulse 3 yet because I'm slowly redoing each mission with each character, so basically all my characters are above the 50's.

Onion Knight is F.U.N.
Probably the only annoying character to play as is Zidane because he's just so odd to control. Plus my PsP is starting to show some wear and tear.

Again: Transmogradust..... Where get!?

Beat shade Impulse 3, do the lvl. 60 extra thing it unlocks and buy it when you get enough.

I'm getting my damn copy hopefully on Monday. I order the stupid thing on August 29th and its taken all this for it to almost get here. It didn't even ship that far away! *angry*
I bought a GTA game on a bidding site three days ago and it managed to get here before Dissidia! What's up with that!?
