On this site (only in the forumns section) I can't ever press any of the buttons above the Welcome, Larsa
PMs:Unread 0, Total 39. That includes the bottons of Home, Afflicates, Jobs, Site Staff, Contact Us, Message Board, Members Area and all the links leading you to the different FFs. Is this just a problem with the internet browser of Safari or is this universal? |

Well about five months ago it started acting odd whenever I came on this site and sometimes it would totally force quit but it was only when I was on this site. Not only that but I used to have safari 3.0 but nnow I have 2.0.

FFE only reopened "about five months ago."
![]() Are you sure the problem isn't with your computer rather than your browser? It's strange that it isn't working in Firefox on another computer either, though; what version and operating system is that computer? |

Like I said 2.0.And it really happened about a week or two after this place opened.
Here how about I tell you a few things. Ok first, whenever I make a shout I have to reload the page because it just stops and the only way for me to see more shouts being made is to reload the pade. Second all those buttons don' work at the top. Third, whenever I do have the shoutbox open I have this huge gap between the SB and the top ten posters and thing in that area. It can be a pain having to scroll down so far. Forth, my invisible mode on here isn't working. I can't change my passwords without assistance. (like what you gave me where you sent the change password email.) Once or twice everyday (only when I'm on this site) my browser shuts down and I have to get back on te internet. That's all I ca think of for now. |

Safari doesn't recognise some of the code in vBulletin right, I know that. We should probably fix that at some point. But as for why you're having to constantly reload, I have no idea. Have you tried just using Firefox for those?
your profile says you're not set to invisible mode. Do you want me to fix that? |

Don't want to give Safari up and my memory's already getting full. But not only that but once every month I have this thing where I can't get into FFE and it says that they're changing servers and I have to wait a day to get back on when other people I know are able to get on. There's als the cookies problem where once in a while I can't get onto the MAIN MAIN page of FFE (not the forums area) and it say I have to clear my cookies but I do that but I still can't get on.

Sounds like a small corruption in the Safari programme to me. Often loading times or unresponsiveness in your browser confuses your internet connection to make it think its timed out or the destination is having problems (ie. the cookies problem you spoke of, or the changing server problem.)
Browsers often close because of scripting failures. FFE works fine on practically everyone elses computers/browsers, so it must be a scripting mismatch with Safari. My advice: get the most recent version of firefox or Opera, clear some space in your computer(or at least defrag it) and let us know how it goes. |

Well this isone of the first 10.0.00 Macs made and it's really about 5 or 6 years old so that might be the problem. But on the case of viruses I don't have any, I mean it's a Mac.
