Ok on my home computer there is something wrong with the smiles where when I try and post or shout a smile it doesn't work.

what do you mean "it doesn't work"? Does it just not show up in your posts? does it not register you're putting in a smiley?

Could it be, perhaps, that some security/image settings are preventing you from seeing smilies, when the rest of us can see them?

Make a post in response to this, but at the end include 5 smilies.

Well I'm out of town at the moment on a windows and it works on here but what I mean is that the browser doesn't register that I want a smile on here.

The browser probably fails at JavaScript then. There's not really much we can do if it has JavaScript disabled.

If you don't remember I have safari.

How to enable javascript in Safari:

1. Open Safari.
2. Select Preferences from the Safari menu.
3. Click Security.
4. Check both Enable Java and Enable JavaScript.
5. Close the window.
6. Click Reload.

Well that's not the problem because I know for sure that Javascipt works on my computer.

It's out of my expertise then. I see smilies, i can use them. so can everyone else. You have javascript enabled, but there must be something else wrong with your PC.

Why not just use Firefox or IE? Safari blows.
