Reputation is used to rate posts. There are negative and positive Reputation. It’s a tool you help you know what your fellow members like and dislike. Quite simply, Reputation can be your friend or foe.
Using Reputation is simple.
In the left side of every post, there is a ‘Rep’ button. Rep stands for ‘Reputation’. Click the button and a window will slide open under the button. It will have the options.
I approve (Positive Reputation) I disapprove (Negative Reputation)
Choose which ever you agree with and move on to the comment box, located right below.
Your comments on this post
This is optional, but use it to your advantage. Tell the person whom you’re repping what you like or dislike about their post.
How do you view the people that have repped you and their comments?
Easy. Just go to your User CP. It will be displayed on the User CP front page with the most recent on top.
What the difference between the green squares and the red squares?
The green squares are positive reputation. This will increase your reputation count, which is displayed each time you post.
The red squares are negative reputation.
Can I rep myself?
No. That would be cheating. :nono:
Even though this system is friendly, it is easily taken advantage of. Negative Repping members for the sheer joy of it is against the rules and will result in a warning or even a ban. Consider this to be the first warning.
