Default How to Kill a Forum in 10 Days
Create giant banners advertising Monster between pages, that you have to sit and wait for it to say "Skip Ad" in order to get the page you want.

This should be something that is only viewable to Guests, not registered members. If it annoys members enough (and trust me, its HIGHLY annoying) they will leave, and then the reason you put the banner there, to 'make money' will not work at all.

Don't put annoying banners for members, make it unregistered only.

Occassionally when you are browsing the forum, a giant full page Monster ad will appear, and take about 5-10 seconds till a link appears that says "Skip Ad", so you basically have to sit and wait for 5-10 seconds to get rid of it.
