That Crazy Ass

Yes, it is I. The person who went crazy! So crazy he made a rant post on the front page of FFE... which really isn't crazy at all...

Anyways. Yes, I still come here. When you devote quite a bit of time to a website (yes, I did more than the FFX section, such as forum configurations and much testing with features as well as cleaning up the core system before release), you tend to still check on it out of curiosity.

No, this isn't a "lol u fal @ seite buldign1", but a more of how I'm disappointed at recent happenings. Let me just say, this is not the way any of us (Ben, Dave, and me) wanted the site to become. The site is breaking...

The forums have a better look and feel, as well as better aspects on the website... but the recent ownership change has slowly been breaking FFExtreme. I mean, look at the poor excuse of site pages? What's with the big gap and poorly integrated ads? Heck, even the forums' postbits are feeling the hurt!

I understand about the ads and say fine to whoring FFE to the commercial media... but please. PLEASE do it right! I am positive my apprentice coders could do a better job than that, and they hardly know HTML/CSS combos! The places you add the ads are okay, but the method and quality doing so is the part that is messed.

I wish I could do something.... such as fix all these bugs and poor coding infestations that have occur through "great" editing. If you would like me to correct these issues, i'd be happy to. I'd rather not see months of work crumble so easily.

Well, anyways. Hope people are doing better these days...

welcome back and blame ralph. We've already gone through two head admin changes. If we can get our techies more active then hopefully we could fix some of this ****.

Well, true. The fixing would be a pretty fast thing... and could still allow the ads to be there (so Ralph doesn't get pissed). Like a quick one man job.. .but yeah. I guess it depends when Ralph comes back or so.

That is quite the truth. Good to see you though Dave. Last time was in the midst of the drama. So this Ralph guy, you sold FFE to him or just gave him the site with complete access? I'd say that thanks to the community, the site stays active. Otherwise, the ads would sort of direct others away.

Nice to see another familiar face around here. Yeah, I did the wrong thing in the past, didn't see another solution until after I created some drama. Oh well, time changes us all, eh?

The ads are foreseeable... but the execution is just.... yeah.... "wtf". The ads where injected with the quality of a street alley abortion.

And, though I wouldn't be 100% dedicated, I'd be willing to help fix a website I spent time on (yes, not as much as others, but still a good amount).

Naw, memory was correct... I was a ass during late 2005. At least to FFE, I was.

Well, have fun people. I'll check up from time to time and possibly fix the site if allowed. Maybe even add some fun to it also, as my programming knowledge has become greater through the year(s).

Well well, seems someone is fixing the site. There is still things that can be done, but it seems all game section pages are fixed.... the homepage is nexted.

Just to throw in what the homepage's issue is.... try adjusting the width of the news articles

** Nevermind... seems it went back to hell...
