An Annoying Question

Hey, just wondering if either there was a plan for some sort of a SOTW or some other GFX battle element or it's just not need or in the plan. I was just asking since the 'Graphical Design' section leaves a lot to the imagination.

Yeah, Sig of the Week. Though even if there isn't one set-up by the staff as such I don't see wh ya member couldn't do it themselves.

Well, first we need people who actually make and create sigs. x_x. I honestly don't think we even have that many yet. Maybe I am mistaken.

Anyone who has a GFX programme can participate. I often use Photoshop, but been a bit lazy to make a tag right now. I mean, I want GFX/designing as a carrier haha.

I've been too busy trying to work on images for the site to make my own tag, but I think tag contests are fun. I might have to recruit some other members just to get that going.

I was thinking the graphics area could use some sprucing up. =P

SOTW is each week a new theme for sig making. It has specific rules about what to do and not do. People enter their stuff in that thread, and generally a week is given for entries. Then a member vote is held and the sig with the most votes wins that weeks comp. Continue cycle. They're pretty fun. Maybe we'd discover we have more graphics people if there was something like that going on.

I suppose we could always leave voting polls open for one week after the contest has ended to give everyone ample time to vote, right?

Yeah, this is pretty much the format everywhere else uses and seems to work almost simply flawlessly.

yeah, or you can have contest #1 for a week then vote for 2 weeks then contest #2 the next week etc. but it depends on how many people are interested in this cuz we can't have 50 sigs per week to vote for.
