I think I've found a bug, although its only started happening today, I've never had the problem before..
Anyways at the top of each section theres a linkl at the top that takes you back to the main index page, but whenever I click it I get an error page instead and the url is: http://forums.ffextreme.com/../index.php but if I go to the index just by using: http://forums.ffextreme.com/ its fine o_0 It just makes navigation extremely irritating

I've noticed this too. Is it really that hard to take the extra dots and slash out of the URL?
www.forums.ffextreme.com/index.php works fine. www.forums.ffextreme.com/../index.php does not. |

Glad to see I'm not the only person with this problem. On the family computer I run into the same problem. It might have something to do with the age of the computer.

There are no extra dots in the links at the top, so any problem you're having in that sense is most likely an issue with your computer. Are you running an old machine with an older web-browser?
EoT: Because that would get annoying, and it saves a bit of bandwidth to not do it. ![]()

@dots, might be because of the forum URL user-friendlyization, can't really think of any other reason.
@topic title, would only do that for a short amount of time after posting, to fix spelling errors or stuff like that. Later on, it would only really be needed when the topic has changed, and at that point in time one could just PM a moderator (to keep 'em sharp as well). |
