Welcome to the FFE Marketplace!
This is a forum where you can buy, sell, trade, or give away items, extra games, consoles, comic books, CDs, movies, toothbrushes, and anything else you can think of. Here are some basic guidelines for the forum so this runs smoothly Privacy: Given that real items will be shipped through this forum, it's a good idea to use general privacy care. Send addresses and phone numbers in PMs; don't leave them in posts. If a moderator sees an address left in a post, s/he will ( ideally ) delete it and message the member about what to do. Payment ideas include check, money order, PayPal, or any other such thing. Younger members, inform parents about the transactions you're taking part in; we don't want one of those messes on our hands. Final Fantasy Extreme Forums cannot be held responsible if a transaction goes bad. You enter these transactions and we assume you are fully aware of what is happening. Selling: Make it very clear what you're selling ( if it's been used, if it's new, what condition it's in, if there are scratches on the disks, if there's a region encoding on the DVD, et cetera. We're all fairly smart; I think this is pretty self-explanatory. Don't be afraid to set minimum prices or hold makeshift auctions; there's no need for this to be a first-come-first-serve thing, unless you want it that way. If you suddenly don't want to sell the item, as long as money hasn't been sent your way, please ask a moderator to close your thread. State what payment method you prefer. Pictures are excellent. Buying: Again, do not post your address for everyone to see. It's a large risk, and who knows who might find it? PM addresses back and forth instead. Bartering is completely fine. Sellers, provided money hasn't been sent, have every right to pull their auctions from the forum. Keep in mind that a lot of countries meet on this forum, and shipping rates and times may be very high or long, respectively. If I remember anything else, I'll update this; I'll leave this thread open for a few weeks for questions and we'll see how it goes. Cheers, eXo. |

How is this all going to be promoted? For example I trust some ebay members because of pictures and you can tell when an item is genuine. Is there gonna be some sort of system and order to this? I'd be happy to help the production and keep the flow of things on the marketplace. Seems rather interesting.

Yeah, I just added that bit about the pictures. Forgot it.
I figure that there's certainly nothing wrong with asking a seller to post an item, and I suggest to anyone that they do that. If a buyer needs a picture, I'm sure s/he will ask for it. Like I've said, there's no absolute way to insure that these transactions will all work, but everything in the world requires a good deal of honesty. |

Alright then I can see it all now a lot clearer. Also its not a one man job and I'd be happy to help you set it up and so on and so forth just keep me posted...or rather PM me about it. Still an awesome slogan could be "What E-bay doesn't have"...nah its bit lame. So like when are you planning to get it started up for?
