Raijin & Fujin = Wakka & Lulu?

Has anyone else noticed that FFVII's: Raijin and Fujin act very similar to FFX's: Wakka and Lulu? hrmm? Maybe I am wrong. So you tell me. Discuss.

Nope, never really noticed the similarity at all...

...but Fujin is the greatest FF character EVAR.

It's an interesting thought and it's possible that SE made a similarity. They've done it before.

Actually, I'd never noticed the similarity before. . .but it's also possible they're just playing the stereotypes of the two lackeys, where one's quiet and badass, while the other's kind of the loaf-ish muscle.

I never thought they were similar to each otehr at all. We do not see enough character development for Fujin and Raijin to know what their personalities were really like. We know Wakka is just a neaderthal and Lulu an antisocial twat. [/joking]

i think they do have similarities because lulu is strict and serious as fujin. and wakka and raijin has similarities as well. you're right lol

Maybe it's pure concidence that they're all similar. But it's cool that you guys seem to notice it, I didnt. Fujin is monotone the majority of 8, but Lulu wasn't as monotone as Fujin was. Lulu liked to laugh from time to time and have humor here and there, like if she was teasing Wakka or Tidus or even taking a poke or two at Yuna. Fujin wouldnt do that but would show compassion towards Seifer and even Raijin; and that's very seldom.

Never saw that. but Fujin bosses around over Rajin as much as Lulu does to Wakka. Other that that......no.

I can see how you would think they're similar. Rajin speaks with "ya know" and Wakka speaks with a "yeah...mon "...

Lulu beats wakka....

Fujin beats Rajin...

Because they argue and disagree alot? Hm, maybe, never seen a personality connection between the 4. Till now lol!

Purely coincidental.
Besides, Nomura worked on the same projects so he does like to repeat some of his character stylings to pay homage to others he has taken as his favorites in the past.
