Which Final Fantasy title started it for you?

FFVII was my first, it started when i used to watch my borhter playing it, i totally fell in love with it, and its my favourite once so far

well my first was VII which i think is one of the best but i love ffX more than anything i think it has the best story ever!!!!!!( plus the ending made me cry)

After playing Crystal Cronicles on the gamecube I wanted to try a real Final Fantasy. So I bought the remake of Final Fantasy IV on the GBA. I got hooked immeditly and started playing others. I really badly want FFVII remake on the PC

Final Fantasy VIII title/opening so got me hooked... first the amazing FMV and then the chilling but stunning Liberi Fatali... I love it everytime I see it!

Yeah, VIII was my first game. I had actually played the Demo out of the Brave Fencer Musashi Game, but later when got into middle school, I made some friends and went over to one their houses to stay the night, and I picked a Final Fantasy and played it. I remember I sped through the game, so I was really weak when I got to Disc 4 and got stuck in Lunatic Pandora. It was such a pain in the ass having to start a new game.

Ama say X. I'm kinda pissed about the amount of people who put VIII. VIII just took the "Fantasy" out of the game and tried to make a game like reality and then ad the fantasy. They shoulda called it "Final _______ VIII"

though i first discovered final fantasy by watching my friend play VII. And i tried pretty much all the PS1 games and remakes, X was the first i actually played mostly through and got into. and after that i was able to backtrack and complete the titles that i only started in my youth. Love em all xD

My first was FF VII. Once i started I just could'nt stop playing it! It was addicting imo.

It all started with X for me back in 2004- then I had a big gap before I started to play some of the earlier games. I did VII for the first time in March this year (my second FF), and since then I've done XII, IX, DoC and I'm in the middle of VIII. Heheh I realised I had a lot of catching up to do!!

i liked 10, it was the fuel that made me play some more, but I would have to say 7 was what got my massive interest in it all.

I know. such a obvious answer, but what can you say, 7 was the best game.

I was always into my RPG's (Shining Force was what I used to play). When I bought my Playstation my friends advised to get Final Fantasy VII as it was the best RPG for the consol.

So it was FFVII for me! I loved the game and I bought each sequal, although I felt that they got worse and worse. I got FFX and hated it so lost complete interest in the series after that and I didn't even buy FFXII.

final fantasy 10 was what i started with. I wasn't interested at first, but my friends talked alot about it and so i bought ff10 and i really like it . i didn't like the sequel though...

Mine was VIII then I got VII maybe a few months later, a long time ago. I've played those two several times ever since. IX was underrated, I thought it wasn't bad ( haven't got the game though.) X gripped me alot, and played through it enjoyably. And I'm playing XII right now (Cerrobe Steppes), which is up there with the others.

I got VII as soon as it came out....and once I beat everything in the game....I moved on to VIII...and kept going until I owned XII.....If anyone knows of a good place to find the early ones please PM me

y'know, I like how Final Fantasy XII isn't on this poll, considering that the only people who could possibly play Final Fantasy XII are people who have played other Fantasies.

it all started in FInal fantasy VIII, the intro was the best, with the liberi fatali song.
what i liked about the game was that the progress of the story was fast, nice plots and characters love that game so much i ripped my FFVIII ps1 game and placed it on my psp.
