My big guess is they published that to throw gamers off and they're going to have a ZOMG UNFORESEEN PLOT TWIST in one of the prequels showing that it really was Jenova in control all along, just like anyone who was really paying attention must have concluded in the first place. But, like I said, I cba paying attention to any of the FFVII compilation stuff; it's just not interesting to me

Sure as hell isn't Sephiroth. Sephiroth is like Halo, overrated on so many levels you can't tell where it all started anymore. If you want a true bad guy look no further than Kefka. That guy was a ****ing psycho. He takes the top position of best FF villan by far.

To be honest they arnt all that bad.
But i have decided that Seymour and Sephiroth are very similar and i think they are the generic baddy characters. Both have had bad mother issues. Both want to kill everything on the planet. Both want absolute power. Both have a twisted mentality on right and wrong. Both are well known in their power. Both were neglected by father. But i think Sephiroph wins just slightly as he has the kick ass theme tune, he unlike the others i mentioned is the only one to personally kill off a character and finally he is over rated and eveyone likes an overrated villian.

Seymour is sexier though and he gets pretty close to getting into Yuna's pants, before she turned into a slut that is. That is something I can respect.
Also speaking of Luca I was partial to: "Let me tell you something. There are weak men and strong men in this world. The strong men take everything and the weak men die." Man that guy had so many good quotes. |
Seymour's parents were actually caring. He wasn't negelcted but since he was different from the rest of the kids (he was half-Guado and Human) and ended up as an outcast. They did want to kill everything on the planet but Sephiroth wanted ultimate power. Seymour only wanted that power to free Spira. Sephiroth is feared throughout the game while Seymour actually has the backing of the general population of Spira. I also believe Seymour was sane but really had some issues. Believing death can free a person? Who knows?
|

Also, it’s worth noting that “Those Chosen by the Planet” is almost identical to one of the tracks from FFV; I think it’s “The Book of Sealings.” Verily. Apart from Kefka I can’t think of any other villain who gets so many great lines. |

Sephiroth tried to summon Meteor, and failed. Kuja destroyed an entire planet. Kefka rearranged the face of one. It stands to reason from their successes that both of them could easily take him out.
...o rite, I forgot. cefirot rulz wth teh masauem :smoke: |
