I liked: Materia, Junction and the job system.. The sphere grid and licencing sucked... IMO... but that's just me.

Without a doubt I loved the Materia system the most. The ability to create an endless list of different combos is truly fun. Plus, the learning of new spells and the juggling of what to use and what not to use was entirely fun. The least favorite system I had was the Draw system as it wasn't all that fun to use. At least I couldn't get it anyways.

The Materia system was the best as far as I'm concerned. It's so versatile and fairly easy to use.

The Draw system was absolutely crap imo. All you needed to do was get some decent magic and you were almost invincible for the most part. Took away from the difficulty of the game quite a bit.

I enjoyed the materia system, it was easy to use and allowed all characters to be equal in ability.

I hated the draw system, whenever I drawed magic I never bothered to use it because i junctioned it. The sphere grid.

The sphere grid system abled you to utilize every ability in the game. no person was unique except for Yuna who could summon. I didn't like this system because I preferred each character to be unique rather than everyone being able to use everything.

And lastly the Dress sphere system, I guess it was okay because it was a traditional leveling up system but once again I kind of enjoy characters to have one unique job, ie Yuna started off as a Gunner, she should of stayed as one the whole game in my opinion, it's not like her body changed in cut scenes if she changed from gunner to something else.

I found the license board really annoying, I wasted a lot of time trying to find the correct 'box' for the equipment/ability desired. I always ran out of license points before I got what I wanted, sadness.

But sphere grid was definitely love .

I loved the draw system to the extent that you had to be careful with what you used if it was junctioned and because you could use an enemies own magic against him.

However the materia system was the best in my opinon but it also had its own flaws with having to spend ages leveling them up and finding certain ones and you have to buy them for the most part of the first disc which can halt progress significantly sometimes.

The other systems all sucked in my opinon

Materia, Grid and License systems was good. The Junc system just sucked ass and Dressphere is no fun at all.

The best is though, the system in FFIX when you learn **** from eguippment and all got their own style.

Honestly, I hate materia way, its gay and i cant stand it

my Favorite is FF9, i love how u can differentiate ur needs for what bttles ull be having and where ur located.

need some petryify immun, slap some crystals into Jelly, if not use them for somethign else, love that system it rocked, also made the class of that person increase with such things as an eye for an eye for the melee's, return magic for vivi and armarent, extra boosts for the summoners and so on

just all around GOOD system
